QuickPAD Technology Corporation is a spin-off from H45 Technology
Corporation. Henryk Szejnwald started H45 Technology Corp. in the summer of 1993
with the objective of developing a portable
tape backup system that could be shared by multiple computers. QuickTape 250
allowed both desktop and notebook users to back up 250 MB of data, via the
parallel port, to a standard tape cartridge. Then, H45 Technology
Corporations intentions were to capitalize on a rapidly growing notebook
and desktop market and the need for an inexpensive backup solution.
QuickPAD IR
Invented in 1998 and QuickPAD IR was introduced into the market in 1999,
the first generation of QuickPAD IR has been selling for many years
primarily in the elementary and middle schools.
QuickPAD PRO
The second generation QuickPAD, the QuickPAD Pro, is now available with and without modem.
